WHO WE ARE
Our Mission Statement
At Iron Paw Rescue, our mission is simple: to save the lives of as many German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois who find themselves at risk of euthanasia, as we can. These intelligent, loyal, and often misunderstood working breeds are frequently overlooked in shelters, leaving too many red-listed with little time or hope. With the help of not only our rescue partners Utah Rescue Dogs and Jack's Dog Haven, along with our awesome network of volunteers and networkers, we exist to change that outcome.
Although Iron Paw Rescue officially became established in 2023, our journey began long before then. Since early 2010, we have been actively rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. Over the years, we have witnessed the incredible resilience of these dogs and the life-changing joy they bring to the families who adopt them.
Our commitment is not only to rescue, but to provide each dog with the care, training, and healing they need to thrive. By focusing on breeds so often discarded, we aim to give them a second chance at life and love. Every dog we save represents more than a rescue—it’s the restoration of hope, trust, and dignity.
At Iron Paw Rescue, we believe that every life matters. We stand as advocates for those without a voice, and we will continue to fight tirelessly until every one of these dogs facing euthanasia is given that second chance they deserve, to find their forever home.
Lastly, what is the affiliation with Wounded Hearts? That is a future project of ours that will be geared towards our veterans, along with a potential inmate program for rehabilitation.
Sincerely,
Mark Primasing & Naomi Arana
